Morning Platitude from The GratiDude
I can remember my sister Jane starting to get serious about her writing career about 20 years ago. More like 22 to be precise.
I was living in Orange County the extremely expensive highfalutin neighborhood of Corona Del Mar in between Newport Beach and Laguna Beach in southern Orange County.
The best thing about my experience, living there for 18 months if I were to sum it up in one word: HOP.
This is when I became lifelong best friends with my brother Jim Hoppenrath, a.k.a. HOP.
But sorry Hop the story isn’t about you. I was just doing a quick “love tangent” like I like to do. #alllove
My sister Jane was just up the road and Los Angeles and was going through a tough stretch and she leaned into writing for many reasons.
Jane had entered a poetry contest(that I believe was put on through UCLA) and out of all those talented scribes in the Los Angeles area, her work was selected. That a pretty clear sign from The Source that Jane needed to pursue this passion, which had been a part of her life since she was a little kid and was stuck sharing a room with Anne.
I hope to be able to write like my sister Jane someday.
I love you, Jane.
I remember thinking that I was certain there’s books inside of me, but I was also certain that I needed more seasoning.
I knew I was not ready to start sharing what was inside me because quite frankly, I knew I had not processed all my experiences and integrated my traumas on a subconscious level.
This is a fascinating point about your higher self that I realize looking back on it with that clear 2020 vision.
Even though I’ve been writing and getting positive feedback on my skills for years and by the time I was in my early 30s I felt like I’d already lived the life of a 90 year-old when I started comparing notes; travel stories, traumas, pains, experiences, scars, injuries, love, success, death, all that shit.
My life bingo card was already fucking covered.
Yeah, my higher self was like “you have a really long way to go before you can pick up that pen, dude.”
And I wasn’t fighting that message because I knew that deep down, dealing with my shit and quitting alcohol, was the only way I was ever going to get to the point of being able to start writing like this daily.
I just could not get that connected to my higher self to be able to do it with Tito being my “secret lover”.
For the last 18 months, I’ve been writing every morning these meditations and platitudes, and it’s been both a combination of therapeutic for me and entertaining for at least a few of you out there and hopefully educational for all of us.
If you notice I weave in a portion of data into every single blog that supports the scientific principles of health and wellness behind the philosophical or esoteric themes that I like to integrate into my writings.
If you are picking up what I am laying down, can I please get an amen from the congregation?
I love you, thanks for reading.
Where I’m going with this is that I’m going to be writing for the rest of my life because I need to get out the things that I’ve learned and the miracles that I’ve experienced in as many different ways as possible, and even in different languages so that if there is a student that is ready, the teacher will appear in a form that is appreciated and digestible.
I wish to be really clear that the message that I’m talking about is not from Kevin Carpenter, but really Me acting as a pass through agent Messenger sharing Universal principles of kindness, compassion, and the benefits of working towards a grateful personal disposition for stress management. This work and attitude is the precursor to an elevated level of happiness during this short life experience.
That’s it.
And you got to put those hours in, but when you love what you’re doing and it’s tied to something that’s bigger than you the more you do it the more you love it and the more you do it and the more you love it and the more you want to do it.
How many hours of practice do you think?
See the joy in the faces of strangers.
According to many spiritual and holistic perspectives, yes, passion does create an energy frequency, as it is considered a strong emotion that generates a distinct vibrational energy, often described as a “high frequency” due to its positive and energized nature; essentially, when you are passionate about something, you are emitting a higher vibrational energy that can be felt by others and can attract similar experiences to you.
Key points to consider:
Emotional energy:
Emotions are often seen as having vibrational frequencies, with positive emotions like passion associated with higher frequencies.
Law of Attraction:
Some believe that the energy frequency created by your passion can attract experiences and people aligned with that vibration.
Physical manifestation:
This energy can manifest in your physical actions, behavior, and overall demeanor when you are passionate about something.
However, you must trust the message from your higher self about pursuing this path because it will never be encouraged through mainstream media or through other individuals that may be operating from a perspective of fear and scarcity.
That’s the challenge and it isn’t easy. I will be the first to admit.
I love looking at how this video guy dances and it’s like he’s wearing ice skates or floating on air and then I think about the thousands of hours that he put into practicing in front of a mirror with other people falling down and being ridiculed made fun of, but he did not give a rats ass what other people thought or said.
His orders were coming clearly to him that he should pursue what made him happy, and he just loved working on this form of dancing, and it brought him tremendous joy. Furthermore, he also began to appreciate, as his skills grew, the joy and wandering all that he could present in people’s lives and interrupt their normal daily routines by doing what he loved, and it was a win-win that way.
Watch the video and look at people’s faces and how their cameras come out and it lights them up and makes their entire day every single time.
None of us will ever be able to dance like this, right?
What we can do is put in the time into the things we love and then use those things or share those things with others to bring them joy, relieve pain, anything beneficial or positive elevates all of us simultaneously.
Keep putting in the work like Captain Kirk and dancing on the floor, sharing the vibe with your peeps as that’s an attitude of gratitude.
