Morning Platitude from The GratiDude

When you’ve achieved some mental clarity and feelings of heart coherence the messages that you receive about your activities and pursuits become clear.

There is no more “quid pro quo” contemplation of your actions, you are no longer concerned with whether your chosen path will deliver the desired results that you are hopeful of having manifested. Because what you were doing is your calling, what makes you happy and healthy, it is YOUR jam. It provides you joy, and it leverages the gifts that you have received through the source of all light love energy in life, the universe, God, whatever your nomenclature of choice.

And when you are doing what you were supposed to be doing then the doing is everything.

It is the Johnny Appleseed approach of knowing that planting those seeds is all you can do and that you’re just going to keep doing it. Would it be nice to pause and take a break and even sit under the shade of one of the trees that you’ve planted? Sure, that might be cool, but that is just an ancillary benefit or a bit of frosting and not the focus at all.

It is exactly the same concept as me giving away my GratiDudepoker chips that allow me to discuss and share my own personal journey and the opportunities for the person I am talking to actively participate in their own health and wellness by implementing some basic practices around self-talk and self-love.

I am planting seeds for trees that I will never sit under at least in most cases.

One exception to that is my experience of being contacted by my dear bro Tim while he was over in Ireland playing golf and he encountered one of my GratiDude poker chips right there on the counter in the golf shop at Tralee golf shop.

At every golf course we went to over two weeks, I shared my story and a GratiDude poker chip for the golf shop as a thank you so that I could leave the very best that I have as Ireland was offering me up the very best that they had.

Well, my dear friend, Tim went up to buy a shirt about a year after hours in Ireland and when Katie at the golf shop in Trey Lee rang him up. He looked down and saw my poker chip taped to the counter right there in front of the point-of-sale terminal.

Conversations and photos and sued laughter, and Katy remembered that when I visited, we talked about “Superman and gratitude and everything.” She told him that “Well Tim, he’s our friend now too so you have to share the GratiDude fella.”

Wow, thanks God for the recognition and encouragement. I appreciate you working through Timmy and Katy in the golf shop at Tralee. Super cool!

Yes, being acknowledged by others can significantly benefit your health, as it contributes to feelings of belonging, self-worth, and social connection, which are all crucial factors for maintaining good mental and physical wellbeing; feeling seen and valued by others can positively impact your overall health.

Key points about the benefits of being acknowledged:

Boost self-esteem:

When people acknowledge your contributions or simply your presence, it reinforces a positive self-image and can boost confidence.

Reduce stress:

Feeling valued and accepted by others can lessen feelings of isolation and anxiety, leading to reduced stress levels.

Improve mood:

Positive social interactions, including being acknowledged, can trigger the release of feel-good hormones like dopamine and oxytocin, leading to a better mood.

Strengthens social bonds:

When you feel acknowledged by others, it encourages you to build and maintain stronger relationships, which are vital for mental health.

Improve resilience:

Feeling supported by others can help you cope with challenges and bounce back from setbacks more effectively.

When we are operating from a frequency that comes from being connected to our higher self, our actions and our behaviors will inherently be kind and compassionate, and the impact will be positive, so we don’t have to keep double checking or worry about results.

In this life experience the more that we focus on our own process and stay present and connected the more enjoyable the life experience is because we keep our poisonous thoughts out of the mix of our real time life experience as the focus.

Easier said than done and that’s why meditation and breathing practices have existed since the beginning of time and flourished all over the world with no sales and marketing budget at all.

There must be something to this, right?

And if you’re just not feeling good, that is OK too. I personally know exactly how that feels, and I also know the way out is just like eating an elephant and its tiny little bites and individual little steps at a time.

It starts in the morning and the first things that you do as that first five minutes set the tone for the next 500 minutes.

Occasionally, the universe and God throw us a bone and let us see some of the fruits of our labor as a form of encouragement and to blow wind in our sales and to keep us going, and to fan the flames of our faith that burns in our hearts.

And when you just keep sewing those seeds and whistling while you work, wonderful things will happen and the vibe that you put out helps everybody recognize the value and want to pursue their own attitude of gratitude.
