Morning Platitude from The GratiDude

It’s impossible to fathom the range of human experiences that are going on at this very moment here on earth. Just like our own lives have had ups and downs and trials and tribulations triumphs happy days and sad days all of that is happening in one form or another to someone at this very second. Whatever you can imagine it’s happening.

Furthermore, as we know, now, from studying the mind and understanding the basics of how memories are formed, it is the way that we interpret our life experiences, and the subsequent stories we tell ourselves that become the facts or the permanent narrative of record as to what happened in our life and what the significance was.

When we sit in stillness, this is the temperature to check in and evaluate our situation. Pausing activities and thinking of future or past thoughts, we receive the opportunity to evaluate our personal narrative. Are the stories we are serving up to ourselves functioning properly, and by that I mean, are we aligned content and coherent and feeling no discomfort or anxiety around our current state or trajectory?

Because if our story doesn’t include the fact that we are a walking miracle and a cosmic combination of intergalactic, DNA and earth mud with a timeless soul and consciousness that will exist till the very end of time and beyond we are missing the first chapter of our very own story.

You cannot read a story and understand it without knowing what happens in the beginning and how we got here.

I’m of the belief that you are here voluntarily, and that you took this mission to experience the entire range of existence and emotions that can only happen as we know it in the human form here on this planet right now.

Furthermore, you are creating everything you’re experiencing, and you can co-create whatever your imagination can conjure up(or as Granny below says here, “within reason.” So British).

This also means you must take full responsibility for the fact that happiness is an inside job and that you are the only one that can both do the analysis and chart the direction for course correction.

This is where it makes sense to have a first mate, or a Coach, which really comes in handy to be able to bounce your ideas thoughts and feelings off someone to untangle knots in your mind and to reveal blind spots that you have trouble seeing. Blind spots are just human nature.

Once you have a Coach in your life and consistent feedback on collaboratively exploring career and life decisions, it’s like having a copilot while you’re flying as it’s both functional and comforting at the same time.

Ultimately coach or no coach, it’s up to you to come back with the answers from your stillness and to start to eliminate either the sources of information or the daily practices or even the people that are contributing to some of the uncomfortable feelings that you may be exploring.

There are a lot of people in the gay community here in the USA that are concerned about the current political environment and the return to power of the conservative party here in the United States that is very vocal in terms of some of their opposition to personal choices and behaviors of non-heterosexual.

I have friends and family that are feeling heightened anxiety, and my advice to them is to stop feeding that anxiety by watching the news and the news cycle.

If you ask people that are feeling heightened anxiety and stress around an issue that has come up in the news make sure you tell them to stop watching the damn news. Seriously.

The other piece is that with all the algorithms on Facebook and other places if you start to dip into a particular subject matter that you’re concerned about the algorithm will recognize that and pour gas on that flame to try to freak you out. The more you freak out the more susceptible you are to other messages the more commercials you watch the more revenue you generate it’s not a conspiracy. The only way to make money is to get you to watch the next commercial.

I’ve told some friends about a buddy talking to me before Yoga last month about the drones in New Jersey and I looked at him as if he had two heads.

I was like no I’m not worried about the drones in New Jersey, and I’m not worried about the flying monkeys in Antarctica. I’m busy controlling the space between my ears and that 5.5 inches is all I can handle right now my brother!

What you consume in the form of information, music, the people you talk to, the things you talk about, all that goes into creating the frequency that you produce as an organism. This is simply basic science your thoughts create your vibe or your frequency that’s just how it works.

And when you need to change it, you need to do something different physically at times to jumpstart that shift like going outside being in nature, expanding your environment so that you can expand and change your thought patterns.

According to holistic health practices and some scientific research, spending time in nature can be considered to “elevate your frequency” by promoting a sense of calmness, grounding, and positive energy, aligning you with the Earth’s natural rhythms and vibrations, which are often associated with a higher vibrational state; this is primarily due to the positive impact on your mental and emotional well-being when immersed in natural environments.

Schumann Resonance:

The Earth emits a natural electromagnetic field at a frequency of around 7.83 Hz, known as the Schumann Resonance, which some believe can positively influence our brainwave activity when we are in nature.

Sensory stimulation:

Being outdoors engages multiple senses through sights, sounds, smells, and textures, which can lead to a sense of relaxation and rejuvenation.

Stress reduction:

Studies show that spending time in nature can significantly decrease stress hormones like cortisol, promoting a calmer state of mind.

Connection to the Earth:

Many people feel a sense of connection to the natural world, which can contribute to a feeling of being grounded and in harmony with one’s surroundings.

It is an inside job, and you are 100% responsible for pursuing your own greatness and happiness.
