Morning Platitude from The GratiDude

According to science, the energy and the electromagnetic field that emanates from your heart travels a further distance than feelings whose point of origin is your mind.

Yes, your heart expresses its feelings, and those vibes are felt from the distance.

While there’s no scientific consensus to support the idea of feeling “energy vibrations” from a heart at a distance, some people and certain spiritual practices suggest that such energy can be sensed, often described as a “vibe” or connection.

Here’s a breakdown of the perspectives:

Scientific Perspective:

Electromagnetic Fields:

The heart does produce a powerful electromagnetic field, and studies have shown that this field can be detected and measured several feet away from a person’s body.

HeartMath Institute:

The HeartMath Institute, a research organization, explores the potential of the heart’s electromagnetic field to encode emotional information and communicate it throughout the body and into the environment.

Limited Evidence:

While the existence of the heart’s electromagnetic field is well-established, there’s currently limited scientific evidence to support the idea that this field can be consciously felt or used for remote communication.

Spiritual and Alternative Perspectives:

Energy Healing:

Many energy healing practices, such as Reiki and Qigong, focus on manipulating and balancing energy fields, and practitioners believe that these fields can be felt and manipulated even at a distance.

Intuition and Empathy:

Some people claim to have heightened intuition or empathy, allowing them to sense the emotional state or “energy” of others, even from a distance.

Personal Experiences:

Many people report experiencing a keen sense of connection or “vibe” with others, even when they are not physically present, which they attribute to feeling each other’s energy.

Chakra Activation:

Some spiritual practices, like those involving chakras, suggest that the heart chakra can be activated, and that this activation can lead to a heightened sense of connection and sensitivity to others’ energy.

Twin Flame Connection:

Some people believe that they have a strong connection with a “twin flame” and that they can feel each other’s energy even when separated by distance.

And we’ve all been in situations, socially, where conversations happen and really flowing and all of a sudden a new person enters into the room or into the group and everything grinds to a halt. Nobody says anything, but if not all the people in the group look at each other as if do you feel this? What’s going on right now? And “I guess that experience is over and we’re onto this experience.“.

On a deeper level when you are in a friendship with somebody and traveling together, you must start to rely on each other’s intuition and feedback for your own personal safety.

I remember when I was traveling with my brother Sean when I was in my early 20s and we hadn’t spent that much time together day after day and probably about 10 years. You see once we were 13 ,14,15 we had vastly different interests different groups of friends and we both avoided coming home in our early teen years cause our house sucked so we didn’t see each other very much.

It was a bit different than other siblings that are only a year apart as we were two shifts passing in the night we both worked. We had adult social lives and of course, once we got our driver’s license, forget about it.

However, when we were back in cahoots together, traveling together in places like Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador, we quickly got connected to each other‘s energies and paid close attention to the vibes that each other was getting off for our own personal safety and survival.

When I tell you that we traveled to some sketchy places and stayed in some Posadas/motels that were so dangerous and dirty you probably wouldn’t believe it.

In Puerto Barrios Guatemala, for example we stayed in the building that was attached to the pool hall and we listened to the generator go on and off all night is it rained heavily and the power was intermittent and the crowd of drunk pool playing Campesinos with cheer like a goal just got scored in soccer when the generator would kick back on. Usually, after the third tug of the generator rope, the lights would be restored before all the money could get swiped off of the pool tables from the gambling. At this particular fine establishment, the door wouldn’t close the last couple of inches so obviously there is no lock and we used rope to tie to the handle of the door and to a piece of furniture to barricade ourselves in and to keep the drunk pool playing country people out of our room.

A few weeks later, we ended up in El Salvador. We stayed in a prison like lodging facility our first night downtown and the bathrooms were communal on the bottom floor and they were horrifically disgusting. When I went in to unfortunately do number two there was no toilet paper so I went to the guy at what you could call the front desk and ask for some. He handed me a magazine, and I told him in my very weak Spanish that I did not need something to read, but instead something to wipe my ass with he told me that in my hand I now possessed both things I just mentioned in one.

Fantastic that should be smooth like Charmin.

And we got ourselves into some situations where I was relying on him, and he was relying on me and we had to make decisions lickety-split, whether or not to catch this bus or to go into the night with this person or that person, and all of it relied on intuition and different forms of communication.

And there are lots of forms of communication, as some people are very adaptive, communicating with their eyes, and letting folks know all sorts of different emotions, just with which how they exert the muscles and the direction of their eyeballs. Think of Ned Beatty in the movie “Deliverance” right before Burt Reynolds shoots the arrow through Ned’s assaulters. He looks for confirmation that it’s the right thing to do and Ned Beatty gives him the “please shoot these sons of bitches as quick as possible” look using just his eyes.

And you can try a little experiment that’s fine and that’s when you go to a crowded place like a farmers market or a sporting event or even the grocery store to consciously as you’re walking and breathing and looking for your things or whatever it is that your primary task is to consciously admit love from your heart in all directions and look for how it impacts people unbeknownst to them as they may turn and smile, or feel a sense of warmth.

Trust that it’s being felt and keep broadcasting that vibe and notice how your demeanor and attitude change as well as the people that you interact with. You are co-creating a loving environment and loving conversations through your intention, and it can be felt I promise.

That’s your attitude of gratitude being felt.
