Morning Platitude from The GratiDude

Every single day, I thank God for being persistent and patient with me. As if I can’t believe that when I finally came around to embracing faith over fear, and wanting to pursue living in a flow, stay connected to gratitude, That the source of all light love, energy, and life would be patiently waiting for me. I feel as if the universe was riding with me surrounding me by Guardian angels, to protect me from myself, so that I could survive all of my slow motion attempts at self-destruction until I could come around to loving myself almost as much as the source of light and love loves me my children and my children’s children already.

When you are OK, knowing that your destination is going to happen and just let go of the exact details of the route, you’re going to take, you could relax as if you’re on some sort of safe, cruise control or autonomous driving program that requires you to keep your eyes, peeled and heart open at all turns. To take advantage of all the signs and signals, and to embrace the synchronicity that is present in your life present moment awareness is vital.

You may have a visitor knocking on your door, but because your attention is not focused on the present moment, you may miss that visitor entirely. My neighbor kid Keith, who is part of my skateboard gang and a local aspiring basketballer, was dribbling his way home only about 10 yards in front of me when I turned onto our street after an afternoon walk yesterday.

I see Keith all the time and we are good friends and I was going to say something, but I wanted to see just how into his dribbling practice he was so I just watched him and walked behind him. He was super into it, and the funny thing was that he didn’t even notice me walking behind him so I let him just keep dribbling and doing his thing because he was having a Zen moment and I didn’t want to disturb it. No, Keith didn’t miss talking to me as he talks to me all the time; however, it was a perfect example of how there could be somebody right in your immediate physical space and you can’t even see them because your mind is so locked in on something else.

In this case, it was a cool thing, because Keith was dribbling and fantasizing about taking that last second shot to win it for his team, so that was cool. In general, however, I like to have all my antenna up all the time and be utterly present for people when they enter my energetic orbit because what can I say I’m a people person.

I want to be present to see who God and The Universe put into my life, as this is how your path alters and forms, and the beautiful mystery unfolds.

Yes, viewing life as a mystery can be helpful as it encourages curiosity, openness to new experiences, and a sense of wonder, allowing you to appreciate the unknown aspects of life rather than seeking definitive answers to everything, which can lead to a richer and more meaningful existence; essentially, it shifts the focus from “solving” life to “experiencing” it.

Key points about viewing life as a mystery:

Promotes curiosity:

When you see life as a mystery, you are more likely to ask questions, seek out new information, and engage with the world around you with a sense of wonder.

Reduce stress and anxiety:

Accepting that not everything has a clear explanation can ease the pressure of finding perfect solutions and control every aspect of life.

Encourages personal growth:

By embracing the unknown, you are more open to learning and adapting to new situations and experiences.

Adds meaning to everyday moments:

When you see mystery in the ordinary, even small things can become more significant and interesting.

However, it’s important to remember that:

Balance is key:

While embracing mystery can be positive, it shouldn’t lead to complete apathy or a lack of action towards goals.

Not a substitute for problem-solving:

While life has mysterious aspects, it still requires practical decision-making and problem-solving skills.

When I finished dinner last week with my dear bro, Tommy C over in Miami, I could feel in his heart as we were saying goodbye that he wanted to give me something, to offer me something, to find a way to help me because that’s just the kind of human being he is, and we love and care for each other very much.

Tom is also fucking brilliant so he can put together and connect the dots much faster than other people. In that moment he realized he needed to introduce me to a cosmic cousin and a close friend from way back in his college days that I will call Magic Mike.

Magic Mike is a healer and a coach/teacher, Taoist philosopher and an utterly magnetic personality and a brilliant communicator. I watched some of his content and it just struck me and resonated with me on the highest level so we had our first conversation yesterday and he was even more kind and generous than I could’ve imagined.

When I watched his content I felt in my soul like I did when I first read the teachings of the Buddha about the cause and nature of human suffering.

I didn’t THINK it was a form of truth, I instead KNEW it and FELT it in my body.

That’s when the Universe hits you upside your heart with life knowledge.

Because I was utterly present in my time with Tom and our connection is very solid and real and built on an open energy of mutual support, TC served up this introduction and it was like somebody handing me a bag of gold. Michael has already given me value via simple inspiration at the very least, now I wish to meditate on how I can add value to Michael and creative ways that we can collaborate and work together because the synergy seems evident.

Keep your eyes peeled for an introduction or a visitor today, there may be a Magic Mike coming your way.

You never know from one moment to the next when you may enter having the greatest day of your life or receive an introduction that could change the course of your reality.

Treat this life like the beautiful mystery that it is, let go of fear and embrace the flow with an attitude of gratitude.
