Morning Platitude from The GratiDude

The more in tune and accepting I get with the fact that everything that I could ever see or experience is energy and has a frequency, the more with the flow of the energy I can get, and more aware of all the varying frequencies around me.

I didn’t have the information nor the awareness to appreciate what had happened in the three or four months of intense energy shifting immediately after I quit drinking alcohol every day 6 years ago. I had started meditating in a more consistent and expanded way and I could feel the gaps between my conscious awareness of my grateful existence shrinking and becoming more intermittent.

What I mean by that is the moments where I felt anxiety or limiting beliefs or emotions, and not a full appreciation for the life experience that I was given today and for all the many blessings that I have, those feelings were dissipating and melting away and becoming more few and far between.

If negative energy and anxiety were fat on my body, I felt as if I was fasting and all the fat was just falling off me.

For example, I had no interest at all and hearing stories or anecdotes involving other people failing or doing something that wasn’t a good decision, which, as it turns out is common as a topic of conversation.

In other words, disparaging others or making fun of people or ridiculing people is a common way for folks to feel a sense of superiority or being correct and it’s just an ego bullshit game that we play with ourselves. Of course I’ve been guilty of it 1 million times however it’s no longer an energy that resonates with me or that I crave or want to be around.

Another example might be the fact that I completely stopped retelling, even to my closest friends or family, stories of painful episodes or traumatic events as I started to understand how the brain and body work when you relive memories like that outside of the process of integrating those memories and letting go of the trauma. If you are doing shadow work and uncovering something that you need to better understand so you can integrate an understanding of what that experience meant to you or how it impacted you, that’s a healthy recapitulation of memories. That’s a safe way of looking backwards.

But you don’t want to spend too much time looking in the rearview mirror cause that’s how you get into a fender bender by not paying attention to what’s going on right here right now.

And most of us are looking backwards with regret or another unhealthy emotion that doesn’t benefit us today. When the reality is, we simply need to take whatever lesson or blessing has been revealed at the time from that experience and stay present and connected to our breath right now.

This is an energy of heart coherence, and of being connected to our higher self, and this is the frequency that will attract the right people for us that will be healthy and allow us to flourish in the pursuit of our own personal greatness.

The work you do inside changes the vibration that you’re putting out to the world on the outside. Your inner energy that you are feeling is being felt by everything and everyone around you, which is why you want it to be a great representation of the best version of yourself.

This may not be a “hard science” but EVERYONE experiences it at various times of your life.

When you have been in a bad place or stuck, you are not hanging out with healthy uplifting people every day. It becomes a bit of a “chicken or the egg” thing, so you must feel this one for yourself.

Yes, there’s a common belief, often framed as the “law of attraction,” that we attract people and situations that resonate with our inner state or “frequency,” though this concept lacks scientific backing.

Here’s a breakdown of the idea and some related perspectives:

The “Law of Attraction”:

This idea suggests that if you focus on positive thoughts and feelings, you’ll attract positive experiences and people, and vice versa.

Similar Minds, Similar Vibes:

Some believe that we are drawn to people who share similar values, interests, goals, and even humor, creating a sense of connection and understanding.

Mirroring and Subconscious Patterns:

The idea that we subconsciously attract people who mirror our own inner state or “frequency” is also common.

Lack of Scientific Evidence:

While the concept of attraction based on “frequency” or “vibration” is popular, it’s important to note that there’s no scientific evidence to support it.

Alternative Explanations:

Attraction and relationships are complex and influenced by several factors, including personality, shared experiences, and social dynamics.

Self-Awareness and Beliefs:

Some argue that our beliefs about ourselves and the world around us can influence our choices and interactions, potentially leading to a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Confirmation Bias:

It’s possible that we tend to notice and remember instances that confirm our existing beliefs, even if those instances are not representative of the larger population.

The Importance of Self-Reflection:

Regardless of whether the “law of attraction” is real, paying attention to our thoughts, feelings, and actions can help us better understand ourselves and our relationships.

What happens when we ride the wave of social programming and other influences media, economic messaging financial pressure social pressure, we lose that connection to our higher self and to that frequency that makes us special and is that little piece of the universe or God that is inside us.

We need to let that vibrate from inside, so we are proud of the music that our radio station is playing for everyone else to listen.

When you do the arduous work inside, the vibe that you create is one of being common content, and it helps others around you be common content. The work you do on yourself paves the way for your friends and family to also do that work by being an example of what it looks like to get on the other side and to be shining with an attitude of gratitude.
