Morning Meditation from The GratiDude

When you know that you are here for a reason and that the source of all light love, energy and life does not make mistakes in putting us here you can breathe easy and start to look for your opportunities to “pass it on.”

If you were feeling OK today and able to get up and move and smile, go ahead, and share that smile with anyone you can encounter because a smile can go an awfully long way and is never a bad idea.

This is just one example of something that you have at your disposal that you can contribute to both make you feel good and help others around you at the same time.

Furthermore, we must keep in mind that if our spirituality was like a math problem, if it was clear and direct and scientific, it wouldn’t be faith because it wouldn’t require any sort of leap of faith. We are provided our own free will as well as extremely specific gifts and inclinations, and with those we have the opportunity to share and uplift others in our immediate family, friend circle, place of employment and in our community in general.

This is one of the reasons why taking care of ourselves and practicing self-care and self-love should feel like an inherent obligation to each one of us. Why I say we should take it more as a requirement in our life and not an optional practice is that we’re not able to provide and share our gifts fully or to be present in order to recognize opportunities where individuals may need assistance if we are not present and healthy in the moment of now

Every single day and every morning you can make a choice and just like on the airplane in the case of a loss of cabin pressure you need to put the oxygen mask on yourself first.

That means you need to start your day every single day in a way that sets you up so that you can stay connected to your higher self which will keep you available for recognizing opportunities to connect or assist. It is the consistency of creating a program that allows you to consistently show up in your community and presenting the best version of yourself.

Yes, helping sad people does make us feel better, as the act of helping others releases endorphins in our brains, which can lead to a positive mood boost and improved sense of well-being; essentially, doing good deeds can contribute to our own happiness.

· Key points about helping others and feeling good:

· Endorphin release:

· When we perform acts of kindness, our brains release endorphins, chemicals associated with pleasure and euphoria, which can make us feel good.

· Social connection:

· Helping others can strengthen our social connections and sense of belonging, contributing to positive emotions.

· Self-esteem boost:

· Seeing the positive impact of our actions on others can elevate our self-esteem and sense of accomplishment.

· Stress reduction:

· Engaging in altruistic behavior can also help reduce stress levels.

And when you’re feeling good and connected, you will spot out of the corner of your eye and opportunity energetically to share an uplift, just like this Steyfon Diggs did out of the corner of his eye in the summer work out and ended up connecting with a young boy who had recently lost his father.

When people are put into our orbit or our universe, it is not for us to question why because we could never understand, but we do have the obligation in the opportunity to trust that what is being presented and the people being put into our lives are part of this learning experience that is our life experience.

I ask you to look around and keep your eyes peeled and if everyone that reads this today made the effort to uplift just one sad person that we will encounter(and if you’re paying attention, it won’t take you long once you leave your house to find that sad person unfortunately) and uplift them with a simple message of appreciation and encouragement.

You have this in your heart to spend freely and you will always receive more once you do so, please come off the love wallet today on this hump day and break off some strangers a sizable chunk of love.

I’ll do it if you do it!

Thanks for starting your day with me and for taking care of yourself and consuming good content that keeps you focused on the fact that you are a cosmic creature put on this blue marble for a short period of time so squeeze as much fun out of your day today as you can and share all the love in your heart.

That is the best way to show the world your attitude of gratitude.
