Morning Meditation from The GratiDude
You can’t wait for other people to give you the green light or to encourage you to go all in on simply being yourself. This should be the easiest “task “that you have on your plate every day is to just do nothing other than be yourself and express how you feel without feeling like you need to change anything.
If you really pause and breathe into this conundrum, it makes you wonder why we give a shit so much about imaginary people’s opinions that we don’t even know. I’m not throwing stones here because I live in a glass house, and I have been guilty and still am to a certain extent too worried about what other people think.
Like I share with folks often I laugh at myself and my fake watches that I used to buy back in the day as I would try to keep up with wealthy businessman in a meeting setting and let them know that I was worthy of asking for that million-dollar check.
Silly as hell, but all part of the process and I had to go through that to get to the point that I’m at here today.
The critical thing to remember is if you feel yourself slipping into a desire to perform for others or to satisfy the expectations of friends, family, or strangers with behavior that either they have come to expect from you or behavior that is typical in a social situation, is take a deep breath and remind yourself that you are perfect where you are right now and there is no need to change anything.
Take another deep breath or two, and remind yourself that the only way to attract what is right for you and the people that are right for you is for you to be true to yourself and to all of the messages and direction that you are receiving from your higher self and not from social programming or outside influences.
You have had experiences in your life where you attracted people that weren’t right for you and if you trace it back, you can look at some of the behaviors or toxic situations that may have led to you matching up with that other person’s energy even when it wasn’t the healthiest move for you.
When I walk by some of the bars downtown that are heavy drinking spots with no food being offered you could see in a general sense that the people are physically less healthy there so of course people that I met or I attracted in locations like that we’re not going to be the healthiest energies for me mentally physically or spiritually.
There is an enormous difference between meeting somebody at the temple, at church, at the beach, out in the woods, or meeting somebody at a bar or at the DMV.
The energy of the location and the place where you meet someone can often largely influence the quality and the type of interactions and relationships that will come out of those venues.
Sticking to healthy places with healthy people is always a good idea, and it will allow you to feel more comfortable in your own skin and to execute upon the messages coming from a divine source and from your higher source, whatever you choose that to be at this moment.
This allows you to just let it flow do your thing and as they used to say back in the 70s, let your freak flag fly.
Can people REALLY tell if you are “faking the funk”? C’mon!
Yes Sister, they can. They FEEL it.
Yes, most people can sense authentic energy from others, often describing it as a feeling of genuineness, warmth, and positive vibes, as individuals who are authentically themselves tend to project a consistent and comfortable presence that others can readily perceive and feel drawn to; however, the ability to acutely sense this energy can vary depending on the person’s level of emotional awareness and intuition.
Key points about authentic energy:
Observable behaviors:
Authentic people often exhibit congruent body language, consistent communication style, and genuine expressions which contribute to the perception of authenticity.
Positive impact:
Being around someone with authentic energy can make others feel relaxed, trusted, and more connected.
Empathic perception:
People considered “empaths” may be particularly sensitive to picking up on subtle cues of authenticity or inauthenticity in others.
In business sometimes this can be a bit more challenging however, if you’re involved in long-term partnerships or sales or negotiations, you need to operate from an authentic standpoint and be a little bit vulnerable and revealing your personality traits and proclivities because this puts out an energy that is more honest and trusting and true, and will help you in both business situations and obviously friendships.
Keeping it real is always the way to go.
This also keeps you healthier and avoid you from falling into the trap of compartmentalizing and creating different personas for different walks of your life, which is energy draining and not healthy in the long run for you.
TypeCoach is the best way that I have found to date to understand this phenomena:
