Morning Meditation from The GratiDude
I like to say and remind myself regularly that I am barely getting started. Relative to all of the things I wish to do and all of the projects that I have in motion, it is a fairly accurate statement in my mind at this time to say that I have barely gotten started.

The reality, though, as I look back over the last 18 months, is that it has been an incredible learning experience and growth opportunity relative to all of the changes that have transpired in my life and in my reality in this last year and a half.
Tons of work and lots of help from GREAT Peeps.
When you make one major life changing decision like; losing a bunch of weight, embracing faith, quitting a bad habit or picking up a good one, changing your diet, getting a Dog, etc., it then creates all sorts of energetic ripple effects inside yourself, in your family and in all of your relationship relationships.
When you move towards a healthier way of living that includes processing past experiences and integrating traumas as well as, your entire reality shifts.
As Doctors, Neuroscientists, Psychologists, start to agree upon increasingly is that our reality is primarily a manifestation of our particular consciousness and life experience in a moment in time.
The world that we see outside of us is really just a projection screen, and our own heart, soul and mind through our thoughts and feelings become the projector. We create what we see out in the world because the world reflects what we are thinking and feeling inside.
I have had The Gavinator visiting and here and there, every once in a while, I have reminded him(for good measure) that the good feelings and positive interactions that he’s experiencing here in Sarasota Florida are not due to the geography or nor are they a result of the types of people that live here in our town.
Nope, The G is co-creating all these interactions and energetic exchanges by simply being present and in the NOW.
He is creating these positive experiences himself through his daily healing meditations and healthy lifestyle he has been practicing diligently over the last week to give himself space to integrate his traumas.
As you will find out when you visit me, here at my beachside bachelor bungalow AKA The GratiGrotto, my entire living situation is focused on health, calm, peace and love through the assembly of art, music playing, fountains running, and a commitment to positive energy and upliftment for all that enter the door of Casa Agape.
No commercials playing on the tv(those are always muted), nagchampa, plants, art, music, comfortable seats, healthy food.
Yes, other people can generally sense your self-belief and confidence through your body language, tone of voice, and overall demeanor, which are outward expressions of your internal state, allowing them to perceive your level of confidence even if they can’t directly “feel” it on an emotional level; however, the closest people to you might be able to pick up on more subtle cues related to your true self-esteem beyond just your projected confidence.
Key points to remember:
Visible signs of confidence:
Things like making eye contact, speaking clearly, taking up space, and having a positive facial expression can all signal confidence to others.
Impact on interactions:
When you project confidence, it can influence how others interact with you, making them more likely to trust and respect your opinions.
Subtle cues matter:
While outward displays are important, people who know you well might also pick up on subtle signs of doubt or insecurity that you might try to hide.
It all starts with that little kernel of self-love that is self-belief and trusting that you were here for a reason, and that the dreams and aspirations that you carry are valid and meaningful. You can have people from completely different walks of life, different socioeconomics, and cultural influences however, when they self-actualize, or they really pursue their own form of personal greatness, they will tell you that without that beginning of self-belief, they never would’ve gotten to the point that they got to and it doesn’t matter if their name is Bob Ross or Marcus Garvey.
Both of these great men taught and believed in the importance and how vital it is to be your own cheerleader and to start by supporting yourself first before others will ever get me behind your mission or your cause.
Easier said than done obviously and for many of you, you might be wondering what’s happened to my self-belief how do I get it back and where do I start?
Breathe. That’s step 1.
Yes, take a deep breath, as this is an elephant that we will eat like all elephants one bite at a time.
Start by celebrating the fact that you care enough to want to do something even if you haven’t done anything, the energy of the thought is doing something and is moving you in the direction towards a healthier way of perceiving this life experience.
You’re going to learn how to breathe again and listen to the messages that will start to come from your higher-self as you learn to separate out the thoughts that you wish to propagate and nurture and simultaneously how to let go of the thoughts that don’t serve you. Thoughts that are fear based and that would undermine your dreams and this process of building self-belief, self-love, and self-confidence will be abandoned thoughts.
Life is the stories that you tell yourself not what has happened to you.
To move forward in a healthier manner, we must first unwind the lies that are limiting your ability to believe in yourself and to replace those stories with the stories of you having a purpose of you being a child of the universe end of creation and for the ability to reinvent yourself anytime you like, just like a caterpillar, crawling into a cocoon and coming out a big new beautiful butterfly.
That is the human experience opportunity that we have, and behavior can only shift and change when thoughts shift first.
Connecting to your breath and getting comfortable with that process is the beginning so take a deep breath and grab your paintbrush.
Or, whatever it is that you love to do, and if you’re not sure what it is you love to do take some deep breaths and it’ll come to you as you cultivate and enjoy your weekend attitude of gratitude.
