It is very easy to feel when somebody keeps it real and being authentic versus the energy of someone pretending to be someone they’re not.
You can feel it when someone opens their mouth and starts talking to you directly, and your intuition is rarely wrong about this subject.
When you get vulnerable and really share parts of yourself that either aren’t perfect or polished or those even things that make you a bit uncomfortable or insecure, that’s how you really create strong relationships and earn the trust of others.
In a business situation when you see leaders, handling difficult situation or emergencies with common compassion, and they lead from the heart that is a big reveal to all of those leaders, coworkers and friends in that organization.
When you put down the script of leader ship or the list of KPI’s or directives that are coming from a board of directors down to a leader and you get into a crisis situation in real time that’s when true colors get revealed and everyone can see where people truly stand, and if folks were operating from behind a mask this whole time.
I love this team building video here as you can hear that the football player for the Lions here Aiden Hutchinson is not an accomplished singer or a trained vocalist by any stretch of the imagination.
On the other hand, what he lacks in formal training and practice is clearly being made up for with heart and love for the song and the effort that he is putting behind it. as his short solo continues, you could feel his teammates, joining in excitement and feeling the real vibe and energy from this man getting up there willing to embarrass himself and sing his favorite song from his youth for everybody on his new team.
The organic energy response is so positive.
You can see why this team never gives up and is kicking a great deal of ass this year.
And we don’t have to be on a football team or in a company or a business to flex our authenticity, and to create a more enjoyable energy within our family or community.
It starts with us and the people that we see most frequently and love and care for, and the process for us begins as individuals to release fear and be willing to get vulnerable by simply sharing as much of our life experience with others and encouraging others to do the same.
Sharing our own challenges and struggles can inspire and uplift, commiserate, or simply connect with other humans that we care about through our hearts and our sharing.
Simple message here to know that authenticity is not a complicated recipe because it’s already written on your heart. The only complicated part is learning how to slow down and stay connected to your breath so you can listen to the instructions of your higher self and just kick back and be in the flow of your Sunday attitude of gratitude.
