I put my hands on my own heart and shouted “You are HEALED!”. And I was.

Morning Meditation from The GratiDude

Now that we have all these Marveland DC comic movies, it has educated many of us as to the wide variety of superheroes and characters that have existed in these publications for decades.

Even those of us that have been around for a while may have only been socialized to the high-level All-Star superheroes from the hall of Justice back in the day you know the usual cast of characters Superman, Batman, Aquaman you know the old school superheroes.

Of course, along came all sorts of others, “Caterpillar Man” I think and “Firecracker dude” I’m not sure of all the real names.  Seems to me the marketing people in the Studios were just pulling names out of their butts and  making up superheroes in a conference room just to keep cranking out those movies. Maybe I’m just being old-fashioned as I’m partial to Clark Kent and Superman AKA keep it simple and get off my lawn ha ha.

You don’t have to be  Wonder Woman to allow others to share their truth, and you can use LOVE and kindness instead of a more forceful  Golden Lasso, to get folks to talk about their traumas and challenges.

Flash,  with his incredible speed could run around the world, instantaneously and stop a bad violent act from happening and change the course of humanity with his super speed!

However, all that aside, if you think about what makes a superhero super, they can use a particular skill or attribute to be able to completely change a situation and potential outcome.

This makes ME and YOU Superheroes as well!

We have the POWER to change and alter outcomes in other people’s lives. Follow me?

Both for ourselves and for others when we create space and allow room for healing and processing without judgment, we are using a Superpower of Compassion.

The power of making room, giving space, permission, for others and YOURSELF to heal  is a SUPERPOWER!

It changes EVERYTHING.

Not much different than breaking up the meteor in the sky before it hits earth,  or catching the baby that is fallen before it hits the ground in the case of Superman, when we are sensitive and caring of others, we make them feel safe to open up and share.

As far as we know……Humans can’t have the traditional superpowers depicted in fiction, like flying or shooting lasers from their eyes. However, some humans have extraordinary abilities that are considered “super”:

Genetic mutations

Some people have genetic variations that give them extraordinary abilities, like super strength, super speed, or perfect vision. For example, the Sherpa people of the Himalayas have genes that give them enhanced strength and endurance for high altitudes.

Acquired abilities

Some abilities can be developed through training and conditioning. For example, mental athletes can develop amazing memories.

Gratitude Evangelists, like The GratiDude for example,  can develop natural proclivities to find abundance and assist others to train their minds to do the same using proven neuroscience.

Natural abilities

ALL people have natural abilities that they may not be using, like the ability to navigate in choppy waters or point in cardinal directions, solve complex problems, collaborate, be artistic, athletic prowess, all these talents need the right situation and opportunity to be discovered or manifested.

Just like healing and processing our own life experiences.

When the sharing happens, the healing begins.

Unconditional love for the sake of love allows doors to open emotions to be released and trauma to be integrated, which is the only way we can truly live our happiest life and pursue our own personal greatness.

It starts by giving yourself permission and being a superhero of healing and self-love.

You must first cultivate your superpowers, your identity, even get a theme song and a proper costume and then you could go to work helping others after you have thoroughly helped yourself.

The oxygen mask on the airplane keeps coming back up as a great metaphor as we must help ourselves first to be able to help others.

Self-Love is the Superpower that makes ALL OTHER powers possible, so please, start your morning with thanks and praise and a deep breath.

From there, anything is possible with your ultimate defense and superpower, your attitude of gratitude.
