The great golf legend Bobby Jones if you were alive today would be doing TED Talks on the connections between present moment awareness, golf mindfulness meditation manifestation all in the context of golf.
Bob Rotella? Way ahead of his time.
Everything wonderful thing around us that we see started with thought energy just like every single shot that we’ve ever accomplished or witnessed in Golf.
Bobby Jones knew that it was all about what was going on between the ears, not between the ropes, which makes a competitive golfer great.
Paraphrasing Bobby’s famous quote is that competitive golf is the game ‘that is played on the 5.5-inch space between your ears” was a tell that Mr. Jones was very aware and intellectually curious as to the power of the mind.
Can you imagine what Bobby Jones would have done with access to all the information around Neuroplasticity and the benefits of self-affirmations and positive self-programming?
Right now, Bobby Jones is on a fairway in heaven(unlike Led Zeppelin’s stairway to heaven could not resist that Dad Joke) Laughing and saying, “I told you so.”
Now we have cool modern practitioners, talking about Zen and the importance of thought awareness and understanding your own mind to become better at golf.
Specifically, the fact that we have positive voices and sometimes negative voices that naturally creep into our thought process, however we can actively choose to take control and focus on one or the other once we become aware of this reality.
Encouragement to envision impressive results to manifest those impressive results. Do not think of all the things that can go wrong but choose to think about how things could go right.

And for those of us that play golf at all the opportunity to simultaneously improve both our own personal lives and our golf game through the same practice is incredible and what I am super excited about with www.grateful4.org .

Meditation can help you play better when you’re under pressure.
One study found that even as little as seven minutes of meditation can improve your game
For example, before a big presentation or meeting you visualize positive outcomes, great questions, healthy interactions, and have that energy going into your meeting to increase the chances of that being the result.
Just like visualizing a positive result from your shot, mathematically improves the chances of it happening.
So, who’s your Caddy, Daddy?
