Morning Meditation from The GratiDude

If you wanna know where an authentic leader comes from, follow it all the way back and you’ll find a weird kid.

What do I mean by that?

Because of how particularly different we all are on so many levels and in so many ways, we all have our own unique, higher self and voice inside of us which accesses the quantum universe, fields of creativity and the space where all ideas that ever have been ever will be exist.

When your behavior is dictated by internal communications and messages that are being received from a higher source and filtered through your own higher self, obviously your behavior will be completely unique to you because the information and the human experience that is taking place is completely unique.

Yes, being weird can be a sign of authenticity, as authenticity is about being true to yourself, even if that means being different from others:

Being true to yourself

Authenticity means being honest with yourself and others and living in accordance with your values and spirit.

Building connections

Being authentic can help build strong connections between people and organizations.

Being consistent

When you’re authentic, you’re consistent with yourself and don’t worry about trying to fit into what others expect.

Being appealing

People are drawn to authentic people because they’re likely to be honest and true with us.

Being successful

People who are more authentic report greater happiness, more positive emotions, and higher self-esteem

It becomes a question of are we going to listen and craft our behavior from all of the information and messages coming from the inside and from our higher self and have trust in those messages, or do we take the easy short term route of fitting in and modeling behavior after the majority of other people’s behavior, so as not to draw tension to yourself for being unique?

Therefore, outward behavior should be as varied as snowflakes and is different as we could imagine.

This is why the experience of socialization and going to school can be so jarring for so many kids, especially the healthiest.  It’s like going from 100 to 0 and if you’ve ever been in a car accident or in a situation where you slam your brakes on hard there’s not a whole Lotta things that are more disturbing and unsettling than that feeling and experience.

When you look around your company or your business or place of work or golf course, country club management company doctor’s office school it will be very evident who is listening to their higher self and acting upon it and who is not.

Just the way people walk and present themselves energetically if you are feeling and listening closely often gives you a good indication of if they are vibing from the inside or reacting to things from the outside.

When you feel safe and not at risk of being critiqued put down or shut down, you are a lot more likely to show your true colors and like they said in the sixties “let your freak flag fly”.

I just heard from my good bro Jay Karen at the NGCOA that when he visited the offices of Arcis Golf where my super good bro Jeff Levine helps run the show. He was really impressed that they had an explanation of personality types by the office door of each executive’s office.  In other words, they had some information saying “in my orbit, these are the rules of engagement for me, and this is how I communicate and operate. If you wouldn’t mind working with me on these terms, we probably get a lot more shit done and have more fun”.

How cool is that?

This is also acknowledging the fact that we all have different styles and personalities and past experiences and inherent types of communication all of the things that you learn in coach, which for me has been highly informative and taken my entire game to the next level.

We are the CEOs of our houses, so let’s make sure we environments where our kids and friends and family feel completely open to express themselves in any way possible.

We can take this vibe into the workplace as well, and that’s when things will start to improve. Culture will grow. Results will grow profitability will grow and love will flourish in the workplace.  That’s a great goal for today on Friday as we roll into the weekend with our glorious attitude of gratitude.
