An important thing to remember is the difference between faith and facts. When it comes to seeking out proof or validation as to the nature of existence, the laws of the universe, the benevolence of a creator, and the forgiveness of an all-knowing spirit, you can only take science and measurements so far.
It was Thomas Aquinas one of the historic Catholic philosophers who talked of the “Leap of Faith” needed to connect with God. That’s where that term comes from and his concept that science and reason will only take you so far in the world of theology and understanding, faith and God.
‘To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible.’
When you get to a certain line or a precipice, his only words of advice were simply “take the leap “.
Faith and reason are two concepts that Theologians and Philosophers have discussed for millennia, with many contending that faith and reason are diametrically opposed, others believe that they are complementary and can coexist.
Faith is a belief in something that cannot be proven through empirical evidence. It is a personal, subjective experience that is often rooted in religion or spirituality. Reason, on the other hand, is the use of logic and critical thinking to arrive at a conclusion. It is objective and based on empirical evidence.
It may seem like faith and reason are completely at odds with each other. Faith often requires a leap of belief, while reason demands evidence and proof. However, many philosophers argue that faith and reason are not mutually exclusive, and in fact, they can work together.
One way that faith and reason can coexist is through the concept of philosophical theology. This is the idea that God could be studied using reason and philosophical argumentation. Philosophical theologians use reason and logic to study religious concepts and try to understand them in a rational way.
Another way to think about this in our own lives is how faith or how the universe and God work in our everyday life. Sure, there are times where you catch a rainbow, like this one I caught in Sarasota just two days ago.

Though, we must look for signs and most importantly, receive the messages that other human beings, other children of the same source of light, love, energy, and life bring us. Those are the most powerful messages and the messages and the signs that need to be honored.
You see, God works through people. I now firmly understand that.
Not that the people understand the work that they’re doing at the time. They know it feels right and it is in line with their higher self.
And I got news for you that the higher self behind everyone’s higher self is the ultimate higher self whatever you’d like to call that big kahuna or source of all love energy in life.
This video is super cool because from a modern social standpoint, the participants appear quite different in terms of their age and appearance, physical characteristics, social status and other than being men they don’t appear to have a whole lot in common.
Yep, there was something about these young men and the music that they were offering that gave this old fella a feeling that it might be healing and something that the spirit of his dear wife, who is with him might want to enjoy at this moment.
Both his wife and her spirit were present and working in conjunction with these young men to produce some music to uplift this man’s heart and soul so he can enjoy his life as much as possible while he is still here on earth.
I’d like for all of us to look around at the people that we have met in the last year in 2024 and review your roster for some people that you feel will be with you for the long haul. Friends that you have made making a concerted effort that have come into your life and added some sort of real value, and you just have this sneaky suspicion that you’re going to be friends forever.
Let’s take a moment and give thanks and praises and be grateful for it truly is at the end of the day one of the things that we will chair shut our deathbeds more than anything. The creation and sustaining of friendships are one of the greatest gifts that Humans can experience with our consciousness.
Let’s go and consider some of the purposes and benefits of these new people in our life and why they are sticking with us. What is the universe or God to help me by introducing me to this spirit at this point of my life?
This is how we live a life of both meaning and purpose, and at the same time take advantage of all the messages that are coming from something much bigger than us.
So, thanks God for my new friends. I love them very much and you always know what’s right for me so keep those types of people coming and I’ll keep sharing with the world what you taught me and that’s to always maintain your attitude of gratitude.
