Morning Meditation from The GratiDude
Have you ever considered how kindness is connected to faith? Even a little kindness, directed anywhere, is kindling that can start the fire of belief—in each other, in ourselves, and in humanity. When we’re kind to one another, it’s easier to have faith that the world is a good place to be.
When we notice The Universe working and God’s kindness toward us, it builds our faith our own intuition and trust. Also, if you’re a believer in karma, you’ll have faith that by showing kindness to others, it will always return to you.
All acts of kindness are a joy to witness and experience. They lift everyone, even those who are only watching. They help us to feel safe and comfortable in this wonderful world that we share.
When I Lift You, I Lift Me Too
Kindness is its own reward. It’s a well-known fact that when we choose to be kind that it gives us a boost too. It’s just one more reason to look for those daily opportunities to be nice, and here’s the good news—these opportunities are everywhere.
You must just be able to trust your intuition or be able to incorporate a little bit of faith to know that there is a ripple effect to good deeds.
Takes a bit of imagination to believe that you being kind and holding a door for somebody might trigger something within them to make them want to do something kind, or even perhaps people that witnessed you holding the door for someone might have a similar inspiration or motivation as a result of your kindness.
The reality is that not everybody is in a good place or feeling well enough to focus on other people. As I walk around and I look at the lack of icon contact that people are making with each other and the real effort to remain separate seems evident for me as someone who is so focused on people connecting, and the overall concept of unity between people.
All the more reason that those of us that have the energy and the physical ability to interact with others or physically help others that may need some assistance since there are so many folks that just aren’t able to show up in their current state of mind and be present to help others.
That’s OK and keep in mind that you can only help folks that want help and are willing to be helped. That is why the saying has been around for thousands of years that “when the student is ready, the teacher always appears “.
I love this video and how the young, impoverished entrepreneur working as a street vendor can be a benefactor for another citizen on the streets. The little Salesdude gets to be the judge of who is a worthy recipient of his kindness and given his day-to-day existence and occupation Would have a keen eye for suffering and for people living challenging lives.
Proverbs 11:25 states, “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”
If you watch all the way to the end, it’s really cool to see the woman who when you think about the example of the ripple effect is sharing the ripple when she receives some money from a customer and says a quick little prayer thanks which just makes the whole circle complete in my opinion .
You are personally moving in the right direction by choosing to watch a video like this and read writings that discuss personal development and ways that we can grow and become happier in the process. Your energetic investment and active self-love you’re doing also creates a ripple effect both within yourself, your family, your friends, and your coworkers and business partners.
Everyone feels it and catches the wave when you invest in yourself and improve your level of kindness and compassion in your heart.
According to the Power of Kindness.org, remembering acts of kindness can make us happy. Kindness can also help lower blood pressure, encourage stronger social connections, and boost feelings of confidence, being in control, happiness, and optimism.
Kindness can positively change your brain by boosting levels of serotonin and dopamine, which produce feelings of satisfaction and well-being. These neurotransmitters cause the pleasure and reward centers in your brain to light up.
Some say that the most memorable acts of kindness done to us were so small that the individual showing kindness would probably not remember it at the end of the day.
Let’s continue to have the faith to trust that the ripple effect is real and look for ways that we experience it ourselves. When were the recipients of kindness or even simple interaction.
Feel the warm love seed grow in your heart when you experience the kindness and warmth of a friend or even a stranger that might come as unexpected.
There’s not a better feeling is there?
So simply pass it on to give somebody else that great warm feeling, that’s how one hand washes the other and together, they wash the face with an attitude of gratitude.
