Jackass!? Jackass? I’M the Jackass?? OK, got it silly Human with your TV and Toxins…..This Donkey is OUT of here!
I could just imagine the thoughts of the little donkey dude named Diesel as he was a young adolescent Jackass, roaming his family’s property….. wondering if there was more to life than this domesticated existence.
Diesel didn’t feel like a domesticated animal at heart…..Diesel felt like he needed to roam free and not be confined to just the trails.
THE BACK STORY:
Five years since going missing, a pet donkey has been spotted with a herd of wild elk in California.
Diesel the donkey ran away during a hike in 2019 when something scared him. He took off running, his owner Terrie Drewry told KOVR, a CNN affiliate.
Both Drewry and her husband Dave searched for Diesel in the Cache Creek Wilderness, a rural area that spans 30,000 acres. They never found him, even though there were times they came close, like when they found some hoof marks and saw a donkey on a trail camera.
She said her family adopted Diesel from the Bureau of Land Management. He lived on their ranch for a few years before going missing.
It wasn’t until Max Fennell, a professional triathlete, went hunting in March and found a herd of elk along with a friend that seemed misplaced.
Fennell took a video of the encounter and posted it to Instagram.
“I just spotted these elk and there’s a donkey with them,” Fennell can be heard saying in the clip. In the footage, the group stop, turn to look at the man, turn away and begin trotting through the hills together.
“Probably one of my wildest hunting trips to date,” he wrote in the caption of the video. “I can’t get over seeing it and I’m amazed that the donkey looks happy and healthy!”
Before his jailbreak, Diesel was feeling unconnected from his Pack, and more importantly, from his Higher-Self.
He is not with the right crew and it’s time to do something about it.
One day during their afternoon walk when Diesel was being led by his humans as if he was a Shih Tzu or a golden doodle on his way to Petsmart and maybe we’ll stop by and get a latte on the way.
”WTF is happening to my life?” Diesel wondered out loud in Donkeyspeak.
And on that walk, he decided it was gonna be his day to make a move because nobody was gonna make the move for Diesel.
Shortly….a large rock fell off of a nearby cliff(thanks God!) that made a big sound… Diesel used that surprise sound as the excuse to pretend that he was scared.
He took off running like his life depended on it.
Because it did.
You see, Diesel had gotten comfortable with the silence and the moment of now so he was able to listen to his higher self that connects him to the universe and the source of all light love energy, and life.
Once he made that connection and realized that all of the answers as to what his true path needed to be AND how he could pursue his own form of greatness, were already inside him, it was GAME ON!
He no longer felt anxiety nor did he need advice from his hairless monkey Human owners, who albeit nice, they had served their purpose in his Donkey Journey and it was time to move on. Besides, they fed him a weird diet and he never really liked carrots anyway.
And when he listened to all of the answers that were available in the silence, he realized that he could never stay domesticated.
He had to roam free. Like the elk do.
He was to follow his dream, and he was going to run until his heart exploded or until he encountered a herd of elk where he would humbly beg for acceptance.
You can imagine the shock in the look on the faces of all the other elk when this crazy ass donkey showed up telling them that he had a calling to roam the mountains with the elk and he would not take no for an answer.
What could the alpha elk say to the brave Jackass Diesel?
“OK Diesel, I’m gonna go out on a limb here and let you have a trial run with the Elk Herd here for 30 days. Just keep in mind they’ll be no fraternizing with the female elk and you’ll carry your weight relative to keeping up with the group and doing your best to make us aware of any potential predators headed our way. “
In no time, diesel was in deep and excepted because his heart was pure.
His actions were sincere, and his efforts were in earnest.

Diesel is here to show us the way, and I am galloping right behind him off of the trail and up into the mountains to find my new tribe as well.
You see I’m starting fresh in a whole new chapter of my life that is 100% true to everything in my heart and soul.
I will not work with individuals that don’t have integrity, gratitude, concern, compassion for others, as we are building a global movement and inclusivity and kindness are paramount.
Our Grateful 4 Group has the skills, the awareness, the relationships, the network and the knowledge to deliver meaningful change to countless individuals as well as to improve the communication functioning and profitability of just about any organization in the golf industry. Or any industry with Humans(hairless monkey donkey oppressors ha ha).

I listened to the advice of the old and the dying when I had the opportunity to bend my head down and listen to their moist words hit my ear.
They told me to get the hell off the trail and run as fast as I can.
So I did.
And unlike Diesel, I wasn’t exactly sure where I was running, but the energy of my cadence attracted the right new members of my tribe and I’ve never felt stronger in my frequency or more clear now in my direction.
I’ll never forget those days leading up to the moments where I knew I was gonna make big moves. When I was moving to California when I was 19 or more recently, quitting drinking five years ago.
Most recently, I have moved on from the marriage relationship I had with the Mother We are focused on our children and doing whatever is right to ensure that they can thrive and be as healthy and happy as possible during these very important years as teenagers.
If it is hard for us, tough shit. Ha ha.
I will never sugarcoat and tell anyone that these types of things in life are easy, just like it wasn’t easy for Diesel to leave behind the comfort, security and security of his domesticated life where everything was laid out for him.
He had no risk and he had nothing to worry about.
That sounds like me working at ClubCar to be honest with you. Too easy, too fat, no engagement, no real energy, no challenge, and I provided no great value to the organization as they didn’t wish to leverage the value I wished to provide.
Like Diesel and his Family.
So I left. I still love Club Car, like Diesel loves his former owners. From afar.
And I really deeply love so many the people that are still at that company and that I worked with, however, it’s about the size of the organization and those larger businesses and how the corporate world need to function in order to adhere to the rules of the game and consistently produce the quarterly returns that shareholders demand at that macro level of a business.
It ain’t personal, GratiDude.
But it is personal for me, for you, and for all of our loved ones to remember that the best way to critically evaluate if we’re living our own life is to take a look at it and make sure that it looks vastly incredibly different than anyone else’s life.
At least then you can be sure you’re not copying or trying to live up to the expectation of what a life should look like and you’re doing something genuine and true to yourself.
The way you structure your day and the thoughts you choose, the emotions that you experience, and the moods that you portray are all choices that are unique to you, both as a spirit and as an organism.
Your breath is your foundation to getting to the point where you know whether or not you’re really happy staying right on the trail. You may be thinking that this ‘Trail LIfe” is fantastic and you can’t wait to walk on the trail again tomorrow, or, walking on this trail is literally going to kill me and I feel like I’m dying inside with every stuff.
If you’re feeling like the latter in your life, well it might be time to make a move like Diesel and shoot your shot with the hottest Elk you can swipe at and jump off that trail and rendezvous at the cool cold stream…… maybe you can start your new life together OFF THE TRAIL and with an Attitude of Gratitude.
