Humble yourself to serve others when your heart opens up. You will be glad you did.

If you wanna be a real medical geek and call the heart what it is, you wouldn’t call the heart an organ.  oh no, this ain’t no pancreas or spleen on the scene, this is what’s known as a muscular organ.  And because I know my audience so well and I have many old friends that read this every single day note in here that “muscular organ” is not what you’re thinking about you freaking perverts ha ha!

Yes, the heart is a muscle organ:

  • Muscle

The heart is made of a special type of muscle called cardiac muscle, or myocardium, which is the thick middle layer of the heart. The myocardium is found in the walls of all four chambers of the heart, but it’s thicker in the ventricles and thinner in the atria. The ventricles need more power to contract and propel blood than the atria.

  • Organ

The heart is a vital organ that’s about the size of a clenched fist and weighs between 300 and 450 grams. It’s located in the middle of the chest, slightly to the left and behind the breastbone. The heart is the main organ of the circulatory system and works constantly to pump blood throughout the body, providing oxygen and nutrients to all parts of the body

The energy from the heart can be felt much further away than energy from your mind or from your thoughts, and the energy that emanates from the center of your chest is of the most value to all the other living things on the planet and especially your fellow humans.

More on that here for the learning hungry:

This is why we must become comfortable with ourselves and our place in the universe so that we can share the love in our hearts freely to help others that may be struggling or in need of an energetic uplift.  likewise, when we are having tough times, just like a little rough patch I went through last week, it is that love energy from other peoples hearts that helps get you back on track, uplifted and feeling like you belong here in your own life.

In this video, I’m sharing just one window into my mind and heart work every single day and some of the things I do in my day-to-day life that I don’t usually talk about or share with other people.  to be careful to not come across self aggrandizing or ego tripping anyway, and I know the folks that are with me on the regular clearly see what my intentions and behaviors are all about.

I copied this idea by learning about about the importance of socks for people that are in between living situations or stable homes, and that having fresh clean socks is a huge boost of both hygiene and well-being, confidence, and comfort.  It is at the intersection of affordable practical and not disrespectful to offer up out on the streets to people.

In talking with some of the folks down there that I see pretty regularly now they let me know that they get a lot of leftover food. A lot of restaurant takeout but they don’t get very much hygiene support things like toothbrushes, toothpaste, toiletry kits, and obvious things like socks.

🧦

you can also put together your own toiletry kits just by buying small individual items and tossing them into Ziploc storage bags and those are very handy to give out as well and very affordable.

Just encourage you to feel comfortable in exercising love and kindness with strangers.  as you learn how to become more comfortable in the generous present moment of now by using breathing techniques and present moment awareness, your heart will grow, and you have a greater opportunity to feel compassion and appreciate its meaning when exercised into action and helping others.  You instantly Elevate your own energy and any of the witnesses   of your acts of kindness will Also feel an elevation of thought energy as they witness abundance in behavior.

This is not woo-woo BS, this neuroscience and this is reality and we need to get off our collective asses and participate to make shit better.
Hard stop.

🛑

This life is NOT a spectator sport.

Someone else will not clean the trash up.

Another person won’t come and feed that person over there. That’s really hungry, we have to do it.

There needs a babysitter so I’m gonna step in and watch that kid for a few hours while their mom makes some money.

I know that neighbor down the street is having trouble doing their lawn work now that they’re so old so I’m just gonna go and clean their lawn up without even asking.
Out of the corner of my eye as I’m walking into the gas station I see someone about 20 feet away about to walk in so I stand there patiently and hold the door. They see me standing there and start to speed up and I tell them to take their time and they flash a big smile.

None of these actions are possible, or whatever happened if our thoughts are not anchored in the present moment by utilizing our breath.

When we are in a space of thinking about future thoughts that generate anxiety, we don’t have the presence of mine to think about holding the door for that person that’s 20 feet away.

We are thinking about just ourselves and what matters to us at that moment, which is a very low frequency vibration, which serves just one person and one tiny ego construct.

When we expand our thoughts to think about others and return to the generous profit present moment of NOW, our frequency expands and rises and we can elevate others, much like a high tide raises all boats.

As your mind slows down and you come back to now you realize there’s so much we can do to make things better by just being thoughtful and present and staying connected to our breath.

This is an example of putting the oxygen mask on yourself first. Remember what the Airlines teach you before every flight: Help yourself FIRST, then help OTHERS.

When you put the work into understand how your mind works, and where your thoughts are coming from and make a determination as to which thoughts are serving your health and well-being by being aligned with your values and ethics, you were cooking with burning oil and operating in a connected space to your higher self.

Gratitude is the vehicle that provides the feedback mechanism so you can learn how to get your thoughts and feelings under control and to understand definitively that your own personal happiness is an inside job not dependent on external variables and political cycles, for example.

This is why gratitude is so powerful, and truly a superpower because living a life where you were comfortable with who you are allows you to express your kindness in all sorts of creative ways and help everybody the beauty of your Attitude of Gratitude.
