How about a trim and a good cry? Maybe a perm and a hug?

Grateful-to now realize that your life can improve at any age. Por ejemplo, I have never been happier in my entire life than I am this morning. For reals.

Morning Platitude from The GratiDude

In life, you can’t always predict whether you might’ve played things differently had you known what the true outcome was going to be.

In other words when you start a project or an activity, job, or relationship, anything significant that requires time and energy invested in a significant and extended way, you don’t always know if it could be the fuel for future regrets down the road.

I think all of us have had at least one relationship or a one-night stand where you looked back the next day or the next year and there are no other words to say other than “what and the fuck was I thinking?”.

Yep, a great learning opportunity.

However, there are other activities and moments and things that you are certain you won’t regret.

That’s my focus here today, when you have a sure thing.

For me, one example of this is when I decide I wanted to make a career shift and dedicate my personal resources to understanding how I could start a nonprofit and learn from other organizations and charities both on how to do and not do what I wanted to do.

That is to spread gratitude and economic opportunity into at risk communities, using golf as the launching pad. Leveraging my billion-dollar Rolodex in the golf industry to the golf industry by bringing new and different talent. We will educate and recruit a sizable number of bilingually proficient young people from the Latin community and other young leaders to help take the reins to continue to expand the business operations and golf industry itself.

At the very end of my life, I knew I would never look back on this endeavor, regardless of the various challenges and difficulties I might encounter.

Grateful4Golf is my sure thing, and everything I put on this site I will always be proud of: www.grateful4.org

I will never regret it and I know this.

While everyone experiences death differently and regrets vary, some actions or choices, like living authentically and prioritizing meaningful relationships, tend to be less regretted by dying individuals.

Here’s a deeper look at what dying people often regret, and what they don’t:

Common Regrets:

Not living authentically:

Many dying individuals express regret for not living a life true to their values and desires, often feeling they spent too much time pleasing others or adhering to societal expectations.

Not prioritizing relationships:

A significant regret is not spending enough time with loved ones, neglecting important relationships, and not fostering deeper connections.

Not pursuing passions:

Dying people often wish they had taken more risks, pursued their passions, and lived a life filled with purpose and meaning.

Working too much:

Some regret dedicating too much time to work and not having enough time for leisure, family, and personal well-being.

Not expressing feelings:

Many regret not learning to express their feelings more openly and authentically, leading to unresolved conflicts and misunderstandings.

Worrying too much:

Dying people often regret spending too much time worrying about things that never happened.

Things People Don’t Regret:

Living a meaningful life: Those who have lived a life focused on purpose, values, and making a difference often find peace in the face of death.

Prioritizing relationships: People who have nurtured strong relationships and spent quality time with loved ones often find comfort in the knowledge that they were loved and supported.

Taking risks and pursuing passions: Those who have taken risks, followed their passions, and lived a life of adventure often have a sense of fulfillment and peace.

Living as a Christian: Some people who have lived as a Christian do not regret that decision.

Spiritual life: Some people who have a happy spiritual life do not regret that decision.

Just like this scissor and comb wielding Superhero who chose a path of service using her talents and passions, to provide dignity, companionship, love and compassion to our eldest society members that are often finishing their lives in assisted living facilities.

When she made the decision to pursue this path, she knew it was a sure thing.

She would never have any regrets.

Just to be clear, I’m not a fan of regrets at all because that is a lack of gratitude and a lack of effort in mining and looking for all of the learnings and blessings from a particular catastrophe or event, which is what you must do to be accountable as a co-creator of everything in your life.

However, it’s totally fair and reasonable to look back on certain things and go “well…..I may have played that one a little differently had I known X, Y, and Z”.

I encourage you today to think about something you’ve always wanted to do however small or big and to start with just one step in the direction of doing that today in honor of the spirit of looking for a sure thing in your own life.

Even if you just held open a door for someone at the store today, wouldn’t that be a sure thing that you wouldn’t regret?

Yes Grasshopper, now you are opening your awareness to look for opportunities to assist and to chalk up little micro wins as my buddy coach Darren K Robert says in your life that contribute in your community to a feeling of love and more unity.

That’s how we’re rolling today on Sabado Gigante.

Today is moving day at The Players in Ponte Vedra and I would like everybody with a big heart to throw some immaculate vibrations towards my boy Billy Horschel. Today is his day to make a move and I figured with a few dozen of you, vibing him from all parts of the country and world. It’s a sure thing.

Another sure thing is that Billy Ho will be playing just like he lives his life and just like all of us here reading the Daily G.I.F.T; with an attitude of gratitude.
