Morning Platitude from The GratiDude

When you thoughtfully and honestly offer up what you have at that moment that you believe is the greatest or most kind or beneficial thing you could offer someone you are doing God’s work.

This is how God and the universe enforce and apply all the natural laws that govern our reality is through other people by bestowing unique gifts of to each of us that when we are aligned and healthy, we can receive expand and then share with other others.

It is the reason that Superman wore his costume and hid his identity when he did great deeds as a way to send a message of encouragement to all of us to look for our own superpower. When we find our own superpower, we are to use it without hesitation and to be anonymous and to not seek credit or to claim victory in the process or to ask for recognition or thanks for your works.

The knowledge that you are sharing what has been provided to you and that you are participating in this giant exchange of energy talents, love and positive energies and emotions should be enough satisfaction for most people.

The change in my awareness, as well as in the level of energy and the amount of comfort I have in sharing my gifts, has made me vigilant in my day-to-day activities, looking for the poor sick or elderly or unhappy in my reality that I may encounter. I’m looking for the underdog and the lady that is suffering that thinks that no one sees her, or the guy that eats alone at dinner every single night and just wants someone to talk to.

I’m looking for those people.

I can spot them by their energy, their facial expressions, their body language, and how they’re moving through the universe. I do my best to interrupt their pattern by saying hello, making eye contact and offering them love from my heart in the hopes that I might thaw their current cold demeanor and have the opportunity for a positive exchange in the process.

Yes, sharing your talents can significantly contribute to your overall health by boosting your mental and emotional well-being through a sense of purpose, accomplishment, social connection, and increased self-esteem, which can help alleviate stress and depression symptoms; using your talents to help others can be considered a form of self-care.

Key points about sharing your talents and health:

Positive emotions:

Engaging in activities that utilize your talents often leads to feelings of satisfaction, joy, and pride, which can improve your mood and overall emotional health.

Social connection:

Sharing your talents often involves interacting with others, fostering a sense of community and belonging, which is crucial for mental well-being.

Purpose and meaning:

When you use your talents to contribute to something bigger than yourself, it can provide a sense of purpose and meaning in life, which can be highly motivating and beneficial for mental health.

Stress reduction:

Engaging in activities you enjoy and are good at can be a terrific way to de-stress and relax.

With this mindset of sharing, it also provides tremendous incentive for personal development and ongoing learning and growth. When you see the impact that you can have by helping others through simply sharing what other people have already shared with you, and by paying it forward in the most basic sense You want to learn more and more skills have more to offer so that when you have the encounters with individuals you can be of more service and have a greater impact.

This is my measurement of success today not financial or economic necessarily however those things need to be considered. It’s really in the personal impact and the potential ripple effect that can have through sharing things around breath work, self-talk, neuroscience daily practices, yoga, etc., etc.

Don’t get me wrong what I have today is enough to help a tremendous amount of people, however, when I add more arrows to my quiver that just means I have more of an opportunity to help and a better chance of hitting my target.

I’m having an incredible visit with my old buddy Joe from Ann Arbor and it is amazing. Lasting and true connections allow you to just walk right back into a conversation as if you never left. It’s the greatest blessing in the world. Friendship.

I hope wherever you are it’s as beautiful as it is here in Sarasota today, but chances are it’s not. Not trying to rub it in, but it might be the most beautiful day today 74° and sunshine little puffy clouds, and an attitude of gratitude.
