Morning Platitude from The GratiDude

It is just like when you are telling someone a story and you know how the story is going to end and what feeling you want to leave the listener with at the conclusion of telling your tale.

You’re picturing the finish and then constructing a path to get there.

You can take the very same approach when it comes to interacting with people in your workplace, your personal life and in your community.

Even in the shortest of interactions when you are present, and in the moment, you can have the intention of feeling confident that you know how the conversation will end because you are going to actively participate and co-create that reality.

One of my dear friends, and mentors here locally, Miguel, shared a cool story along these lines with me that was filled with love and compassion and was a surprising experience for the person that Miguel interacted with.

You see my guy Miguel had helped someone out of a pickle and when it came time to close the loop on what the arrangement was and the understanding the person that Miguel had assisted vaporized and seem to no longer exist in physical form(joking, but the very definition of “ghosting”).

You know how that is when you finally run into somebody that you know has been avoiding you and they know they have been avoiding you and that decisive moment and OF dealing with reality happens.

In this case, the person who had been ghosting my hermano, Miguel, assumed that there was going to be a conflict and that perhaps retribution would be sought for this person’s inappropriate inconsiderate and immature behavior.

Instead, as my friend Miguel tells me, his approach was one of compassion and understanding and the whole experience ended exactly as Miguel had planned with a calm agreement to have better and clearer communication going forward.

In this case in the video here, this surgeon knows that he wants to emotionally elevate his patients and to give them the greatest chance to both relax and to participate in their own healing process during their surgery. He came up with the brilliant idea of dressing these little kids up as superheroes to activate those emotions!

Our Surgeon Superhero Creator thought about where he wanted his patients’ emotional state to be as they entered the room for surgery and was not concerned with using traditional practices or things that he was taught in medical school. He decided to rely on his higher self and to use anything, he could muster from the quantum field and fields of creativity to produce a new and unique way to get the result he was looking for in terms of the emotional state of his patient as they entered surgery.

Yes, visualizing your completed task can significantly improve your results by boosting motivation, confidence, and focus, essentially acting as a mental rehearsal that prepares you to successfully execute the task in real life; research suggests that visualization activates similar neural pathways as actual experiences, making it a powerful tool for achieving goals.

Key points about visualization:

Mental rehearsal:

By vividly imagining yourself completing a task, you mentally practice the steps involved, which can lead to smoother execution.

Increased confidence:

Seeing yourself succeed in your mind can build belief in your ability to achieve the desired outcome.

Improved focus:

Visualization helps you concentrate on the task at hand by directing your attention towards the desired result.

Positive mindset:

Regularly visualizing success can create a positive mental attitude, which can motivate you to act.

This resonates with me because I had to figure out a way how I could introduce gratitude to strangers in everyday conversations and leave them with something as a memory to help make it stick and become impactful.

I wanted them to also feel, at the end of our conversation, much like a Superhero all dressed up and ready to go activated with an attitude of gratitude.

That’s where the poker chip came from and producing the story of asking about Superman, Clark Kent, and gratitude.

I did not rely on conventional approaches or what other people are doing, and I saw answers and inspiration from outside of me from my creator from nature and from anyone that was willing to participate with encouragement or positive energy.

When we know where we want to go in a relationship, or a conversation or situation and we have positive intentions combined with thoughtfulness and some information around who it is we’re speaking with and how they operate. We can be unstoppable in terms of manifesting remarkable things and being collaborative during our short life here.

Please let me know if there’s anything I can do for you today to help activate you or if you’re interested in one-on-one coaching where I still have a couple of spots available in 2025 going forward.

Don’t be afraid to let your creativity and your ideas swirl. Once you have an idea of where you want to go with a particular activity, or a conversation start picturing that finish and working backwards with an attitude of gratitude.
