Personally, I believe that there is a shift in collective consciousness happening through the circulation of so much information throughout the world.

I read a cool book over a decade ago called 1492 and it was about the world after Columbus arrived at the New World and how from that day forward Pangea began to stitch itself back together, figuratively speaking.

What I mean by that and what the book explains is that through travel and now information the water from China and all the organisms inside of that water end up being spilled out into the Harbor in Long Beach California and all those organisms and chemistry start mixing.

Not to mention the people themselves that get off that boat and start mingling with the locals and the next thing you know we’ve got an Irish African Chinese American kicking in in Long Beach and listening to Snoop Dogg.

That’s reality.

And on the other hand, you’ve got this continuous growth of consumer culture, and that being exacerbated through social media, the algorithms and all the ways that folks are aspiring to get likes views sponsor dollars and revenue for their brand or their website, etc.

So, the whole Kardashian curb appeal of conspicuous consumption has been elevated because there are so many more media outlets now to push that message as individuals have their own channels, and there are many channels as there are people today.

The messages of consumerism and hyper capitalism are one of separation and one of personal individualism. You display and express your success through conspicuous consumption, through an allegiance or an alliance with certain brands that you feel send a message to others about what you stand for who you are or the quality of you as a person.

Then you flip over to the sides of quantum physics, and the reality that we’re understanding that Einstein’s principles only took us so far. Quantum theory, in a summary, would opine that consciousness is the critical element that was missing in all of the definitions within the world of physics until the subatomic world could be better explore through technology.

Furthermore, the interconnectedness of all energy has been reinforced from every direction in every study meaning that separation or the concept of separateness is purely an illusion, and not a scientific fact.

Science states that there is no separation because everything is energy, including the space between what we call physical objects that are also comprised of energy.

According to modern physics, yes, everything we see in the world is essentially made of energy, as the fundamental building blocks of matter are considered to be energy fields, with the famous Einstein equation E=mc² demonstrating the equivalence between mass (matter) and energy; meaning matter can be converted into energy and vice versa.

Key points to remember:

Matter is a manifestation of energy:

At the most fundamental level, the particles that make up matter are described as energy fields, so in a sense, everything is energy.

Quantum mechanics perspective:

Quantum physics further supports this idea, suggesting that reality at its core is not solid but rather exists as waves of energy.

Not to be confused with “spiritual energy”:

When people say “everything is energy,” they often refer to this scientific concept, not spiritual or metaphysical interpretation.
